For the Port-A-Step units: (To discuss the proper Port-A-Step choice give me a call at 214-649-9407)
2 step Port-A-Step: (23x31 deck with 1 additional step) is $375 - low deck campers that have only one external step. Best for use where the highest outside step is between 10 and 18 inches off the ground.
3 Step Port-A-Step: (23x31 deck with 2 additional steps) is $425 - 2 step campers. Best for use where the highest outside step is between 17 and 24 inches off the ground.
4 Step Port-A-Step: (23x31 deck with 3 additional steps) is $475 - most travel trailers. Best for use where the highest outside step is between 24 and 30 inches off the ground.
5 Step Port-A-Step: (23x31 deck with 4 additional steps) is $575 - tall 5th wheels. Best for use where the highest outside step is higher than 31 inches from the ground.
The top 23x31 deck has a thickness of 1.5 inches and can be adjusted to as much as 3.5 inches to make the final step into the RV shorter and easier. This must be taken into account when determining the proper number of steps needed.
The 23x31 deck surface rests over and attaches to your existing step on your RV unit. The number of steps required depends on the height and number of steps in your RV unit. As a rule of thumb if you now have 3 steps you will want a step set with a deck surface plus 3 steps (4 step Port-A-Step).
