5-Step: Recommended for tall 5th wheels (over 31 inches off the ground).
General Guidelines:
As a general rule, if you currently have 3 steps on your RV, you'll likely need a 4-step 7" Freestanding unit.
Remember: The number of steps required will depend on the specific height and configuration of your RV's entry point. It's essential to measure your RV's steps to ensure you choose the correct unit.
Freestanding 5" rise Recommended Usage:
3-Step: Ideal for low-deck motorhomes with one external step (door threshold 19" or below).
4-Step: Best for 2-step motorhomes (door threshold 24" or below).
5-Step: Suitable for most travel trailers (door threshold 30" or below).
Important Notes:
When used with a deck, set the step either level with the deck or below the deck so the deck
becomes and additional step when needed.
For entry points higher than 35 inches, consider using a combination of decks and multiple step units.
